Our Leadership

Smt. Shalini L. Barve
Founder and Chairperson
Smt. Shalini L. Barve, the visionary founder and Chairperson of VGPS, was deeply moved by her personal experience of sending her son away for quality education—a separation that inspired her mission. Recognizing the emotional and financial challenges of sending young children away at an early age, she, along with her husband, resolved to build a high-standard educational institution in Kandri, a mining township near Nagpur.
With the establishment of VachchhalaGopi Public School, she has created an ambitious project that provides children in Kanhan urban-level exposure and opportunities within their own community. Under her leadership, VGPS has become a hub of excellence, offering not only quality education but also enriching co-curricular activities. As the school enters its third year, Shalini’s unwavering zeal continues to drive its progress toward its goal of transforming education in the region.

Shri Liladhar G. Barve
Co-Founder and Chairman
Shri Liladhar G. Barve, Co-Founder and Chairman of VGPS, is a passionate advocate for equitable education. Growing up in the small town of Kandri, he developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by families in accessing quality education for their children. Rather than establishing a school in a major city like Nagpur, he chose to invest in his hometown, driven by a desire to bridge regional disparities and provide local children with opportunities that match urban standards.
In collaboration with his wife, Shalini, he founded VachchhalaGopi Public School to offer holistic education and foster growth in the community he cherishes. For Shri Liladhar, VGPS is not just a school but a heartfelt contribution to society. Witnessing the school’s steady growth fills him with immense pride and reinforces his commitment to the noble cause of education.

Mrs. Triveni Sarode
M.Sc, B.Ed , CTET
In alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, she strongly believes in a holistic, learner-centric, and competency-based approach to education. Her vision focuses on developing students’ critical thinking, creativity, communication skills, scientific temperament, and ethical values, while ensuring joyful and experiential learning.
Under her leadership, the school emphasizes:-
* Conceptual understanding over rote learning.
* Experiential and activity-based pedagogy.
* Integration of life skills, values, and 21st-century competencies.
* Continuous professional development of teachers.
She encourages a nurturing school culture where students feel safe, respected, and motivated to explore their full potential. By fostering collaboration among teachers, parents, and the community, she aims to prepare students to become confident, responsible, and lifelong learners, as envisioned by NEP 2020.
